Slag dryer is suitable for many combustion furnaces: high-temperature fluidized bed roaster, grinded coal powder stove and artificial adding coal stove. Slag dryer or slag drying equipment belongs to rotary dryer.
It has advantages like reasonable design, perfect workmanship, stable performance, advanced process, high yield, low energy consumption, small covering area and high automatic degree.
Advantages of Slag Dryer
1. It has big handling capacity, strong overload resistance and high thermal efficiency. The coal consumption is reduced by about 20%, decreasing the drying cost directly. The transmission gear adopts replaceable pin gear instead of the traditional steel casting wheel, saving investment at the same time of reducing maintenance time and cost greatly.
2. In order to achieve the best drying effect, slag dryer adopts downstream drying process which means that the materials and heat source enter into dryer from the same side. The temperature of discharging area is low and the thermal efficiency is high.
3. It makes innovations to its inner structure, strengthening the cleaning and heat transferring effect to the scattered materials and solving the viscosity problems on the cylinder wall.
4. It applies a new-type feeding and discharging device, avoiding jamming, discontinuity, unevenness and reverting phenomenon of materials. Accordingly, the overload of dust removing system is reduced. Slag dryer also makes innovation to lifting system from many aspects. Especially the adoption of new combined type lifting device overcomes the "wind tunnel" phenomenon of traditional dryers.
